Nichole Aksamit is the past editor in chief of Allrecipes magazine. She helped launch its first print issues, elevated the brand, and transformed the magazine into an award-winning national food title with nearly 10 million readers.
Nichole has an English and Mass Communications degree and 20+ years experience in professional food and health media.
Prior to her work as an editor and brand leader at Allrecipes and Dotdash Meredith, she was a news and health reporter, food critic, and restaurant reporter at the Omaha World-Herald and a cookbook editor for branded books by Southern Living and Cooking Light at Time Inc.
She’s also worked as a culinary instructor, an SEO writer, and a telehealth content marketing manager.
She’s currently the CEO and editor in chief of Scribble & Stir, a freelance writing, editing, marketing, and consulting business.
Throughout her career, Nichole has mentored scores of writers; created, edited, and produced thousands of food and health articles (and tens of thousands of recipes!); and fielded pitches from countless freelance writers, publicists, and brands.
